In this case, an admin API for Steam gives you complete access to every user account on Steam. Ruru allegedly had one of these for Steam in China and could potentially use it to access the match records of non-LGD Dota players and view their private scrims, even if they don't have match data exposed | ||

So can somebody explain? There were allegations that LGD+LFY's owner had access to an API key that let her watch any game, even if it was private. So she could watch private scrims between any team. Valve never commented on the situation, and it was never verified one way or the other. Icefrog did reply "thanks, we'll look into it" or something similar when initially notified. | ||

My guess is the "Is useless since Reborn came out" thing is accurate, and Valve decided not to pursue punitive action so as to not anger I guarantee if we get an LGD/LFY final it will be all over Reddit again though  | ||
