Sixteen teams in a double-elimination bracket.
Top four teams in each group of Group Stage start in the Upper Bracket.
The 1st place in each group of Group Stage picks their opponent from either the 3rd or 4th place finish in the opposite group.
The 2nd place in each group plays the team that was not picked by the 1st place.
All matches are played in a best-of-three.
5th-8th placed teams in each group of Group Stage start in the Lower Bracket.
The 5th place in each group of Group Stage picks their opponent from either the 7th or 8th place finish in the opposite group.
The 6th place in each group plays the team that was not picked by the 5th place.
First round is played in a best-of-one then all matches are played in a best-of-three.
Grand Finals is played in a best-of-five with no game advantage.

Eastern teams are surprisingly popular in the polls above. I'm expecting EG/Liquid to win today, but both iG and Newbee do have their chances. iG might have the slightly harder opponent, but they've also been playing better and better each day.

Also, time for some good old pointless arguing over groupstage MVPs:

5: ddc, easily.
4: Victoria, GH.
3: Inflame turned from a huge liability in lane into a monster, so I'll give it to him.
2: Miracle, Super.
1: Probably Ame. Matumba and Monet seem to have both been pretty flawless, but they've also mostly had easy games.

BO1 games going to be even more chaotic than before, there has been so many games already that an outdraft or playstyle or whatever can take teams by suprise to much. XCTN 1-1 OG; C9 1-1 VP; Infamous 1-1 Secret etcetc lots of this happened, EG also vs teams just got out draft and lost. So good luck all those teams in todays BO1, it's going to be very tense!
