Either way, it worked out way better for Fnatic when Mushi was on a carry mid instead of those pesky ganking mid. Those two cores take a lot of farm for them to even come online. It is greedy enough to pick them, making them work so well so early is really hard. The team played really well, it is not as easy as saying 2xRanged > 2xMelee. Not really. Firstly both are able to obtain farm. Medusa solos decently, tb at safe lane free farm. Medusa stone gaze alone makes engaging Fnatic a difficult task, especially when backed up by ravage. A tb deals a shit load of damage if the enemy can't really control or burst him (protected by gaze ravage etc). Its unconventional draft, but it works well against Fnatic lineup. Again I felt a timbersaw would have wrecked Fnatic. Gives LGD the burst they really craved. Tb can't deal with timber until late game. Only concern would be how well disruptor plays. We have already seen TB alone comps and Medusa alone comps fail easily because the clock ticks hard for them. I am just impressed on how early and well they made them work together. Saying they won purely because 2 ranged against 2 melee is a big enough advantage is quite lazy. Fnatic played really well.
Yea cuz Medusa has no damage alone, and TB can get focused alone. It's sort of a strange situation when both complemented each other well.
