Playing Fly right now feels like playing like one of my pubs against Slark.

Really hope that Valve doesn't directly invite Secret to TI if they continue to perform poorly. They have already had multiple chances at major LAN tournaments. Name recognition ought to count for something, perhaps, but this Secret has not had worthy results by a long shot.

meanwhile newbee stomping og. not inviting newbee but had them going through qualifier sure was a smart move from valve, lmao.

same logic applies to alliance, except Secret's victory was more recent and a Major.

Yeah inviting a team because they won a LAN with a different roster half a year ago would be pretty silly

I dunno, Alliance has won more than a single series with their current roster

(but if they don't get results I wouldn't expect a TI6 invite for them either)
maze.

Practice makes perfect. Newbee look this strong because they played so many games to qualify. Meanwhile Secret won one series after the shuffle and invite.
Misery on Secret: I managed to get kicked twice from the same team before I got my share of the money. 4Head

Honestly if secret crashes out of this major and still gets a TI invite it will be very disappointing. It's one thing if they redeem themselves and get a very good finish (I want to say top 3), but otherwise it's just blatant favouritism. Their results so far haven't just been middling or mediocre, they've been trash.

Wonder why they're running Group A & B at the same time rather than Group A then Group B.

Seems weird given they only need to run approx 6 hours of games (3 concurrent sets of games) per group.

Do you think Ehome would've put up a fight? They're the last team Newbee win to get here.

Woke up to see a Slark and BM game from Newbee. Sucks to fall asleep as soon as the event starts.

I think LGD shouldn't have been invited and NB gets the spot or like more than half the teams shouldn't be invited and you get 2 qualifier spots for each region.
