His farming is just crazy.
It good stuff from them, i hope they aren't to disheartened, i would been a bit sad cuz the points man, so close and they are needed. Oh well, onto the next one, wonder if they go to Philipines or not? It's RTZ SF man, back in Secret days it was 1st pick material Yeah i guess i didn't remember that much but still, was very good. Guess it nice SF back in meta when we have rtc able to go off on one with it :D

RTZ SF is a classic. Shame we won't see him playing Naga, I've always liked his Naga games but she's awful as a core right now :C

If they can build and improve on what they showed in the games against Secret, with proper drafts they'll be a very scary team. When is their next event? I want moar gaems!!!

Well if they dont pull out of Galaxy Battles which is that event which was a major and now has 0 points on offer atll, then it is 15th January. If not it will be 23rd in the ESL One minor in Genting!
|
As far as we know, EG is attending Galaxy Battles/2 ?
Edit: It's been pushed back to January 19th

Easy victory today against PG.B, they looked solid with good drafts. Let's see how they do against tougher opposition.

Did anyone realize EG is scheduled to play Na'vi in 3 days @ ESL One Genting? To me, it has fatigue written for EG all over.
ESL One/Genting/2018
Interesting format for sure.

Ah I think it's not too bad, Galaxy Battles is probably good practice plus they shouldn't be jet lagged.

Yeah don't forget they are in Phillipines now and have to only go like 2 hour flight to that. Should be ok imo. Hoping we do well there though, we have a stupidly tough bracket, only 3 teams m ake it out of a bracket to get points. We have Newbee Liquid NaVi LFY to battle, TNC/Mineski might cause issues too so we need to be playing well there.

So Sumail back mid now or what?
I didn't see the games against OG - only Fear's last two interview questions.
Looks like we've got Sumail back mid now though. Who's offlaning then.... Fear? Hard to judge by those two game... according to dotabuff it was two PL offlane games, once rtc once fear.
|
i THINK HES JUST TRYING NOT TO BE SO TRANSPARENT TO THE OTHER TEAMS i MEAN THEY'VE HAVE TO answer the dam Sumail question 80 times this week alone and Misery said yesterday everyones gonna play everywhere so I think Sumail will probably play offlane against VGJ
|
Think the Sumail switch was more about what type of heroes and roll he would have on team. Besides the DP on a three core lineup, i think he has gotten more space creating heroes that he wanted to play. Think he plays better and seem more motivated. Like EG picking PL early and then can adjust build (either diffusal or battlefury) to opponents lineup and when they need timing, nice way to make lineup more flexible without moving lanes. Think Misery has already shown more in drafting and helped make them more aggressive than before. Hope this style can have succes against top tier opponents.

Sumail roleis #3, either they put him safelane, mid or offlane... Dota is not so much about these static lanes anymore, all the best teams swap heroes around lanes. Its about flexibility and hero matchups.
Man that game 2 against VGJ.T!?!? Nice comeback. Good boost for the team. Learning every game. Misery is a great 5 player for EG. Cr1t is getting to play as the #4 that we saw in OG. Core players swapping lanes, being very dynamic and flexible. Love the development from EG. These are not the strongest teams in the world, but this is fantastic practice for EG atm. I can see this team becoming top3 with Liquid and VP in a couple of months.
Bleed blue!! <3

Yeah, I think that the farm priority is generally:
1. RTZ 2. Fear 3. Sumail
Laning can be flexible.

Absolutely awesome games, i hate that it gets taken away from them a bit with the fact it isn't the best of tournaments in terms of team stregnth, but holy hell they played so well today.
Sumail goes mid for a series then plays Tide and Abba, awesome! Misery and Bulba drafting so well too.
But RTC holy crap he played so so so good today, farming off the chart and the plays in the last game vs VGJ on terror were awesome! Hoping we convincingly take this tourney and take it to ESL and carry on this form!
|
Damn, getting 3-0'd in the finals is a bummer. Still this is a decent result, we can't expect them to be the best team around after such a short time with Misery.
|
Im very happy with theier performance. The games in the GF was all super close, but the game 2 was the deciding one, and they were super close to taking it. Less then 2 days until the next tournament, letts go!
|
Fear not farming well though...

Sumail chronos were funny as well haha. He tried so hard that game it felt but ahhh. Shame though, i also wondered why they didn't try a triple core line up vs VGJ like they did vs OG. See if they could have got away with pure greed.
Still hopefully can work on some stuff before heading into ESL. Getting some points is priority there though!
