Really needs to be played continuously for the story and places though. Might get confusing otherwise and the combat and puzzles aren't easy.

I solid update that really keeps the core of the game, while also really smoothing combat and class disparity. And they have been focusing on pre-made adventures as supplements, while supporting a solid online tabletop program that doesn't break the bank. More thoughts to come, but this is all very good stuff. You JUST got into it? Yes its a very well balanced DnD; easy to pick up but enough balance between roleplaying and mechanics to keep all interested.

I’ve been experimenting with the burning wheel system, running Mouse Guard and technoir. D&D has been too cumbersome for my online group of buddies for years now, so 5th didn’t really make us look at it. But now my wife wanted to play it, so I got the players handbook to check it out.
