They actually led me towards a general disdain for old people. I've taken corrective action since and befriended a 70-something year old lady who has/uses an Oculus Rift to talk to her son in Israel. She's my adopted grandma, and helped remind me that not all old people suck. My grandfather was super into the Ipad and Iphone, because he worked in optics and though everyone having a camera was the greatest thing that could ever happen. But he was also a dude who grew up in the 1930s and was all about teaching me how to sharpen a knife, because you need a sharp knife.
The other side of my family are catholic conservative democrats and are the god damn worst.

Spending decades in a retirement home being unable to do anything by themselves and not recognizing anyone was quite miserable for anyone knowing them beforehand yeah I think we're all kinda ready, and I've kinda moved on, but it's still just rough.
Definitely makes me like, completely not ok with being kept in a home lol
thanks every body
I went on an 8-hour first date last night that involved a car seat headrest concert and 3.5 hours of skeeball lol

Picked up the new God of War. Anyone else been playing it? So fat the story is good and it has the extremely satisfying brutality of the earlier games but I'm hoping for the combat to pick up a bit.

The combat feels a little clunky but at least sometimes is nice and hard. The puzzles are mostly bad. The game is satisfying enough that I played it a lot, but I don't feel too motivated to finish it (I'll probably buy spider man the next time i have the urge to game).
I'd be buying spider man right now but I got home at 5:00 AM from date, then got up at 9:00 AM to take our interns on a full-day tour of queens and honestly it's been an amazing weekend but i'm so fucking tired

also offered them pretty good odds at beating me at any of the arcade games at the museum we went to but ofc they did not
did lose $20 offering expectancy to them on how much lunch for the ~10~ person group was, but that's like literally my job as far as making the interns have fun and bet a lot

According to a recent report by U.K. divorce resource site Divorce Online, more than 200 couples filed for divorce in 2018\ while citing Fortnite and addiction to other games as a reason for the split. A victory royale that is not—at least for the spouses on the receiving end of that negligence.
“These numbers equate to roughly 5 percent of the 4,665 petitions we have handled since the beginning of the year and as one of the largest filers of divorce petitions in the U.K. is a pretty good indicator,” a Divorce Online representative wrote.
Something tells me these marriages were already bound to fail anyways.

I'm a bit torn over whether to buy the one DLC for Megadimension Neptunia VII because the grind has been pretty awful due to some of the mechanics they introduced to unlock the true ending, and it'd only cost me $5. Guess I'll reflect on it more carefully but the ability to shave off grind in a Nep game is really nice.
That being said if I'm not grinding in a Nep game what else is there?
Although THAT being said... the grind is pretty unbelievable. I think they tried to design the game to not need grind, and as a result took out all the easy grind stuff from the game.
Come watch me lose some SC2. https://www.twitch.tv/intotheheart
