I don't think based on past performance there was really any justification for putting OG that much higher. A few spots one could argue, but not much more. In general I think it could be more interesting to do simply predictions with some justifications. Who will flop and who will surprise? Then you can do really hot takes instead of just putting teams roughly in order based on how well they've done in the past | ||

As you said power ranks aren't meant to be predictions and when teams don't play against each other in an official match for like 2~ months it's almost pointless but people like talking about which teams they think are favored to win and make top 8 etc. so Power Ranks still fulfill a purpose. | ||
