That was measurable, you could see it change for anyone with public MMR who went through that range. Anecdotally, there were also a lot of people in low 3k who reported their unranked games reading as vhigh but their ranked in high. My guess was always that vh was defined as the top X % of games, so since better players were more likely to play ranked, the top X% of casual ended up being 500 mmr lower than for ranked. Sounds like a lot of people here stopped playing around the same time as me, also. | ||

i was also wondering if all of my external ports were funneled through the vpn socket (i'm using pia) i think the answer was yes to both (vpn can see my data but that's it) but just wanted to check with some nerds | ||

The public WiFi doesn't affect that, though, because either way the traffic between you and the VPN is encapsulated/encrypted. You're just as vulnerable connecting to an http site through a VPN at home. I don't use a VPN so I can't answer the second question with confidence. I would assume all outgoing traffic is encapsulated by the VPN client regardless of port. You should be able to check that with Wireshark if you're really curious. | ||

Wacken summer 2019 is already sold out? I'll try to get tickets when I'm sure I'm in Germany at the time. Probably will be there with my father in law the and a couple of friends. Will have to wait and see for now though | ||
