I'm just saying Wizards doesn't directly profit from a card being worth $50 because they don't actually market the card for $50, they just market it by its rarity. Valve/steam to some extent directly participate in the sale of hats (or in this case cards) and are more directly connected to the "third party market" for their goods because it isn't actually a third party market.
I feel like this would matter, because the argument that MTG is gambling is only enabled by the fact that there is a third party market that assigns value to cards on a card-by-card basis, and Wizards is entirely disconnected from that process. Valve, on the other hand, would directly be part of that process.

valve's out is that the cards will only be purchasable with steam wallet money, which is not real money. it's the same defense they use for csgo skins and such on the steam market

So you will be able to buy them with real money? Because that is how my steam wallet gets money in it.

Ya for sure. No ones immune to the universal truths. Besides I e done a lot of stupid shit in my life I’d never argue with this.

They can’t make is magical not money if it comes from money.
Also other services let you have a balance with their store. They don’t let you sell shit in an auction house. That is the part is the thing that sets Valve apart.

P6 which one is more realistic Boston Public or Boston Legal
|
Idk I just feel like if buying packs of a tradeable card game would be considered gambling, short of forbidding it entirely there's a lot less that could be legally done to Wizards than to Valve. You could ask valve to post approximate values and odds and stuff, but idk how you'd restrict Wizards.
Not that I feel it should be restricted, but it feels like a possibility it eventually does.

Boston Public, it was a better show. Boston legal always had them going to a nice court house with high ceilings and air conditioning.

It’s raining I sent other 9 people home 2 days ago while we wait for an opening so today I’ve wasted a lot of time trying to do the survivor island challenge thing in botw.
I’m sure it would be easier if I was more than 20 shrines in I’ve died twice to oneshots and had to start over. Whoops
I don’t particularly want specific advice I’m just venting. I haven’t looked a single thing up ever and It’s my first Zelda game so I’m doing a lot of figuring things out.
