Bless my hosts for letting my gf and me sleep in the same room as an unmarried couple. As always in bigger cities values change but in the smaller cities and on the countryside moreso people are very Conservative and don't use protection. If there's even Internet to use tinder, I'm sure you'll find it the way you saw faruko describe it. Though I found the country to be highly sexualized but incredibly prude at the same time.

Overall it is far less prude than the US, more so than Europe, but Europe as a whole falls a bit on the other extreme end of the metric. I might have accidentally insinuated that, it wasn't deliberate. I unfortunately can only compare it to Europe, having not yet been able to visit the USA. Neither have I visited Chile. You're like almost the only person I know from there xd

I would say we are pretty good in terms of stable economy + our human developed index is pretty high compared to SA And while yeah, it's a pretty stable country overall much of that doesn't really translate to the masses, like salaries, retirement pension, etc... are not good enough. Also gotta realized that SA is pretty undeveloped as it is, so being up there is not exactly good (not that it's bad but stiull), we still have lots of work to do in education and more equality
