I mean there's a reason the flag sticks around, and there's a lot that the US has done to the south that arguably its still recovering in some senses from the things imposed after the civil war But at the same time, the Confederate flag is associated w/ racism in the public mindset, it shouldn't be on a state capitol, i don't really give a shit if people want them to display on their own private property, but its just wrong to have it on a state capitol, for gods sake its a flag of rebellion from the US (granted the US flag is a flag of rebellion from the brits but you get the point its different) | ||
