BoT were buffed for like 5 versions straight, every time new boots are introduced BoT were buffed to make em viable and I still see carries not picking them up even when they have 6 slots and PT inside. I mean the 35 ms must be better than the AS this far into the game :/

Probably right. Unfortunately I seem to be stuck in the region where wards, support and general team-play is somewhat uncommon from the four others on my team (hence why I often play the support).

Why would they even bother with item statistics like that. Naturally the tier 4 items have higher win rates because when people get good items they win games and people who end the game with unfinished manta or scraps of even cheaper items lose...who would have thought ^_^

Just finished playing a game with Chen
+ Show Spoiler +hardest game of my life... jeez.

Chen is like top5 hardest hero in the game. Even when you stomp you feel like you played terrible and could've done so many things better. 4 active spells, 3 creeps with 1 ability each(or even two sometimes!) and Items on top of that.

The most fun thing you can do with Chen is to steal a wildkin at level 1 and tornado the crap out of midlane.

So as I was trying to buy an item from recommended items I ended up getting a poor man's shield icon stuck on my cursor. After that I spamclicked everything and the PMS icon got stuck in the middle of the screen and I got a boots of speed icon stuck on my cursor.
How to get rid of this? I DC'd but I'd prefer not to have to the next time.

You have to restart dota, no way around it. It's a known bug, no ETA on the fix.

I've experienced this too, a very annoying bug. As far as I know DCing is the only fix.

I was thinking of putting 1 in each lane.

You always sell boots and get BoT as a carry late game once you slotted since you can't afford to waste a slot on a tp scroll.

Hahah, my sentiments exactly. Got a 70% winrate with chen and I still fucking suck at the hero. Things get really hairy when you have 3 creeps and shit starts hitting the fan.
