Imagine twitch chat in virtual reality. It would look like a crowded stadium and everyone would be screaming dumb shit all the time. That actually sounds like actual sporting events.

More than just that. UD's lore is that his mind was literally wiped in order for him to become an abomination.

Not really. In fact, most of the stat stuff just makes no sense at all as far as lore is concerned. It's a gameplay mechanic, pure and simple, and the only reason it has a human attribute tacked on is because Blizzard was trying to make a nod towards Dungeons and Dragons.
