As far as I'm aware, Eastern Europe is also the biggest region still in Dota. And even outside of CIS, Na'Vi is still the most popular team. It's still the team that most of the psuedo-fans/casuals relate with. I wholeheartedly believe that Dota would be where it was 1.5 years ago today if Na'Vi didn't exist. If EHOME won TI1, and Na'Vi was just a bunch of faceless CIS players. | ||

Even if no one qualifies I hope some Lan in the future just holds an SA qualifier to get a team in there. I mean people are inviting bloody korean teams, and South America has had a passionate Dota community for a decade. | ||
