Sometimes I forget how spoiled I am using TeamLiquid without all the clutter that makes up a single post on most other forums with the avatar, signature and whatever other profile information they include. Of course the moderation/post quality as well.

Now I'm wondering if he ever tried to become a Dota 2 writer for here.
Not that Riptide would have ever allowed it, but seriously I'm curious.

I don't think riptide knows much about him. Me/Heyoka wouldn't let it happen though, lol.
I think some of us have jokingly suggested him before
edit: oh and he's never asked to become one.

I browse jd/ggnet when its kinda quiet in TL. Made me real happy that we have all these glorious mods keeping us safe from the outside. For it is dark and full of terrors.

I sometimes look at JD/GGnet, but I've literally never browsed their forums. Only time I've read a GGnet forum post is when Kupon3ss or Choco link me dumb things azarkon says

One of the best things about TL is the simple design. I thought all forums were like this, but most of them are filled with GIF-laden signatures.

TL is good because of the moderation. Low-moderation areas tend to attract shit, because intelligence is driven away by stupidity more easily than stupidity by intelligence. Moderation fixes the imbalance. We may get a good amount of one-liners on TL, but hey, they're at least relevant most of the time.
I've seen what low moderation looks like. It's not pretty. Thank god for mods.

The problem with Azarkon is that he has some good points (lack of amateur scene hurts longevity of pro scene) he twists everything to suit this narrative. But ggnet has a bad tendency of posting drama or articles that cause drama to get hits...

He just never did accept any view apart from his. That stubbornness made him maddening to read, much less talk to.
