Pretty big joke imo. Cash in on flash in the pan gaming for more viewers, wow arena 2.0. League is a fine game and I understand why people enjoy it but as an 'esports' competitive title its a joke compared to dota, plain and simple. MLG just announced pro league checkers, when they have chess on the shelf. | ||

There really is no other game that can compete with those numbers. LoL streams regularly keep 5k+ viewers and there is usually a stream with 15k+. MLG has already shown that it is in it for the moneys and not the more subjective matter of which game is the most competitive. I don't see why there is not room for both though? | ||

BW and wc3 co existed fine, maybe the dota-like game scene need that for quite some times. Riot maybe doing agressive positioning right now, but I still trust Valve about not throwing away so much work in failling marketing. | ||
