Connecting to the dota 2 network , what does it mean? this is what i get when i enter dota 2?

I had the connecting to the dota 2 network issue yesterday, and I found out that dota 2 wasn't down at all.
Restarting steam solved it for me, and several others according to some threads I found by googling the issue.

lots of anti-mage discussion..
what I've really liked to do is pick Shadow demon and skill qw to max (skip poison) and always go to his lane. You can essentially spam q on him and it burns all of his mana and does tons of damage. It's also easy to setup ganks off of this because he can never blink away. No blink AM early game is like easy as shit to kill, especially if they skip VG. The times you can QW combo you can almost kill him, or in fact kill him. Can't tell you how many times I've solo'd an AM as SD. I think it's mostly because a lot of AM's are facerolling and bad and people don't fully understand SD. Anyway, that's what's fun for me if they pick AM. Normally I'd like to just push hard but getting pubs to push is like the hardest thing in the world for me to do. So my method at least stops AM from free farming for the first 20ish minutes, kills his farm and might even kill him a couple times. After that it's up to team to end before he can recover.
tl;dr: I like to QW abuse on SD vs AM. ^_^

I love watching the Russian teams play lately. Darer, Na'Vi, M5 and DTS are some of the most entertaining teams to watch in Dota 2 at the moment.

He spent a good two minutes looking at the game when it was paused and trying to figure out why Storm Spirit was pulling Sandking and if he missed. Commenting on how the Epi was going to be interrupted blah blah blah. When Storm and SK were on the same team....

EG will probably have Nirvana (Merlini) instead of Lacoste. He's played most of their matches for them lately

im not sure but today Lacoste was playing match making with EG tag.
