The set would be fine if the gems were red (maybe?) and helmet was different. It's not THAT bad, the new Faceless Void set looks even uglier imho.

Do you guys think that there will be another patch pre-TI3? I'm guessing 6.78c is the last simply because some teams are starting their bootcamps now and any more changes will basically result in poor preparation for TI3. Tree was the only hero whose "pick priority" really changed from this patch, but his nerf hurts some other heroes as well (weaver, for example, seemed a lot stronger when combined with tree).

Alchemist is the strongest carry in the pool - but I think he fits a different role than AM does. AM can do some very special things. (not sure how I feel about the nerf on Alchy, but he's probably only a tiny little bit weaker).

There are a lot of carries that can carry harder than Alchemist. edit: Alchemist is kinda like AM. They don't have much carry potential, but their strenght comes from farming items faster than the opposing carry and having an item advantage.

They don't have much carry potential, but their strenght comes from farming items faster than the opposing carry and having an item advantage. I mean, all things considered, Alchemist provides a huge variety of strengths in numerous ways in many phases of the game, and is generally very flexible in how he can be played. This is why he's more or less a T1 ban in the game. Yes, he can get out carried if the game goes long enough, but that's not what I mean by the strongest carry in the pool. Perhaps I should use the word "Best" carry in the pool.

Thinking AM won't be even in top 25 is ridiculous actually. From my observation teams are running 40% tri-core, 40% dual core & 1 out of 5 games 4-protect-1. And AM is still like 3rd popular in the 4-protect-1. Thus just say teams play a 4-protect-1 out of 5 games, and Gyro usually get more hate, we are left with a lot of AM.
