Glad you clarified because i thought that the example we talked (Zephyr(?) ulti changed to a disco/disco lights) was purchasable or something and just changed the ulti in the game for everyone to see. If it's just for your own pleasure, then i welcome things like that.

![]() He can be a funny guy but he can also appear as a complete idiot. Just because the finals are in the same place as every doesn't really fix all the mistakes they made. Especially considering that this year they charged for the tickets and there was 0 improvement compared to last year.

I don't know if that particular skin is really a mod or if he misnamed it, since some HoN skins are indeed pretty damn weird, but there's a diference between mods and ingame items, and the ingame items in Dota 2 have been all fairly tame. I expect they will stay that way. With mods, people can go crazy, it's their game. Mods are always awesome for the consumer, not so much for Valve, so I don't expect full support or anything like that. It will probally always be annoying to keep them working with updates, if Valve doesn't feel the need to completelly disable them.

Sure, TF2 has different weapons for different classes, but nothing fancier than the original/starting weapon in the end.
