He was still situational in dota1, probably because he's melee unlike shadow demon. His ult's pretty mediocre if they just disable you and wait. | ||

Now that im a better player(/sarcasm), i shall go Phase + Medallion + Drums + Basher + BKB. Should be a cheap and effective way of using Abaddon as a semi-carry and eat up all the supports. What do you guys think? | ||

You all miss the most important part of abaddon. It's his voice. In Dota 1 he had Arthas' voice. The german translation included the perfect line "Frostmourne is hungry/has hunger" If that mistblade thing is not hungry, I won't accept Volvos adaptation of him as the proper hero.
