When they charge 50 and the rest 120 or so from the 200 goes to a person that did no value adding work compared to what they tried to do they get mad. Especially when it is limited edition. If the company charged those extra 120 the experience expected could be higher.

I'm here with hotel for a week and flight paid and still no fucking tickets (I need 2 for me and another 2 for one friend). If I don't get a ticket I will camp at Benaroya Hall and not leave until they let us in. I know there's still more tickets to be sold but Valve really fucked this one up. Letting these nerds getting like 6 tickets is just bullshit.

I guess 20/20 hind sight. I mean you've really got to get your tickets 3 months in advance for something where only a few thousand people are going. It's just people being stupid and not thinking.

I feel bad for folks who didn't get tickets and wanted them, and I definitely think that in the future Valve should use a (much) bigger venue, but most of the comments on http://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/1dvmd6/ti3_ticket_sales_were_handled_abysmally/ are cracking me up. People seem to think that this is somehow different from every other high demand/low supply ticket sale on the internet.

valve allows you to RELIST the very same fucking ticket on their OWN website. That level of idiocy is unprecedented. Rage is warranted.

You can only have $200 in your steamwallet at any given time, so unless someone managed to magically get to checkout twice during the huge lag, and somehow also top his steamwallet up in between, I don't think anyone bought more than 4 tickets. I've already seen accounts with 6, 8, and 9 tickets each. The $200 limit only applies in the US/Canada. There is definitely a ridiculous amount of scalping going on.

Where's the GDstudio's $100,000 tournament? Getting pretty tired of GDStudios elitism when they haven't contributed all that much themselves compared to the established Dota leagues.

I saw a guy with 6 tickets... that's fucked up man. Valve should limit 2 or 3 tickets per account. + Show Spoiler + Good shit right...
