Is it being like masters in sc2? It's quite hard to see what % bracket you are in as the information is not really available to you.
I am starting to get games in Very High MMR but still get some players who don't quite know what they're doing - I've only been playing for 3-4 months so theres a lot a don't know. I.e my win ratio with brood is like 10% (I random 90% of my games).
Nah. I'm top normal/low high or something like that, and from my experience in ixdl, the difference between these ranks and low very high is miniscule, low very high is more about when you started/if you've used a smurf, because if you started late and without knowledge, your MMR will be pretty much fixed and you won't get higher by solo queuing.
Just a quick question, seeing as i'm a complete noob and just started Dota.
I picked up Huskar (currently just practicing bot games, trying to get the feel of the game) and i'm enjoying him quite a lot. Just not quite sure how his W, the flaming spear works. Do you have to constantly spam click it? or do you cast it once and have the stacks go up from there? Thanks.
Burning Spears can be manual cast or be set to auto-cast on every regular attack. To toggle auto-cast you can either alt+press the skill hotkey, or right click the skill icon in the UI.
You don't really need to level it at all tbh espc if you're just starting the game (orb effects like burning spear can be tricky to master). Most players only get 1 rank in it to harass in lane because using orb effects doesn't draw creep aggro and I think it has like 50 more range than his regular auto attack. Otherwise it's usually relegated to 22-25 (or before that if you want it over stats) and once you get lifesteal its not that useful except if you need to burst someone down a second quicker.

Yeah I got similar. There is no point to memorize numbers since all of them easy to access from the game or you can get a feeling on cd's etc.. by playing a decent number with that hero.
