my comments to james, which obviously blew his mind. I see him alot talking about Na'Vi going to china, until I see the travel plans I don't see them actually making it there. I also don't see a need for them to go, it would improve china more than it would improve Na'Vi. well, Singapore KS.Int vs KS.MY training house? With the current state of Orange and Zenith, training with them could be much more beneficial for both party than training with China while you also get access to Chinese/SEA sever. Other than this, there is no place that Navi could trained that wouldnt make other teams improve more than themselves. Before the last starladder LAN Puppey were really frustrated on how wide the skill gap of Navi compare to others teams in NA/EU. mean while let me remind the official statement of Navi since Feb 5th "I also don't see a need for them to go, it would improve china more than it would improve Na'Vi"
Most retarded statement I've ever heard.

ZeroGravity said they might go to China, but it seems there's nothing concrete about it so far. Tobi doesn't think we should talk about it as if it is a sure thing, and it has been hyped up too much for something that wasn't exactly confirmed, that much is true. It looks like it's just Tobi's personal opinion that they may not be going. Apollo said later in the SC2 section that Dota2 people look like they are too desperate for news, and I have to agree. "MLG is picking up Dota 2!" "Navi is moving to the US!" "StarTale will work on Dota 2!" Some things should be taken with a grain of salt until there's at least a little bit of credible information about it. And 2GD announcing something like that is definatelly not a good source. So the official statement was "We would like to go and will definatelly go at some point". Yeah, that's basically nothing. They have good odds of going just because of the G-1 league, does that apply? While I guess Appolo has a point I have to agree with Cecek, Dota 2 has grown quite large yet the LAN tournaments are far and few. This while the viewership is there. Dota 2 can pull in quite the numbers and has already surpassed many SC2 LAN tournaments in viewership by online tournaments alone, that is why the Dota 2 community is thirsting, the Dota community has a valid reason. The viewership and interest is there, where are the LAN tournaments?

Probably something to do with contracts and a punch in the "i".

Navi will improve tons from china, if they will submit to proper coaching imo. I mean, look at what happened to LGD.int

Agreed. Didn't even know someone would be able to put so much nonsense in one single sentence. I mean even XBOCT said, that they have to go to China in order to stand a chance at TI3, because if they'd stay here, they'd have to compete against "these teams".
Another thing I'd like to point out: It's not about moving into a teamhouse, it's about competing with the best on a constant basis, which makes teams stronger. That's why LGD.int became so good.

solo luna offlane needs bootfirst to be viable, cuz perma windrun speed makes u invincible~

Basically, we had Drow, Bounty, Natures Prophet, and Tinker. Finesthour nicely asked the 5th player to pick a support and go top with drow. Except he insta picks Luna and goes offlane with our Bounty Hunter. So now I am solo top with Drow against Slark+Veno. The Luna completely ruined our lanes. Game's hard.

If going to China gets Na'Vi to focus on their training and improvement then that's what they should do. Their last bootcamp before TI2 was a disaster (according to Puppey) and it took a dota miracle for them to get to the finals. Don't think they can count on that the third time around, iG look even stronger now. Hubris will always be a problem for Na'Vi (especially now with Kuroky), but the focus of a trip solely to improve at Dota will help negate that with optimized execution. As for all of the "changing the metagame" stuff Zerogravity discussed, I'm sure they'll have some unique/clever picks but I'm pretty skeptical. Their strategies always seem really fluid: they don't introduce revolutionary changes to dota strategy but their picks usually have a high degree of flexibility and sophistication. I think honing in on that will help them improve more than trying to completely change the game

Nevermind, 16-2 timbersaw game. Fuck yea, Clairvoyance was right, that hero is grape against melees. And everyone.
Idk about this whole Na'Vi china/no china crap. They just need to get their shit together and train hard, wherever they are at. They have so much natural talent and they already work so well together. 5 months doing dota full-time and full-intensity? That would put them on iG's level no matter how hard iG prepares.
