Before Patch drow was a goddess of agility with ulti on. If you stood near her, she would still be a demigoddess.
With the new change she becomes mortal if you stand close to her.
Was actually quite silly that she could just simply ignore positioning because half the agility was still good enough to fight back against many melee heroes.
Also Phantom Assassin is now officially a counter to Drow.
This would be nice if Lifestealer wasn't the go-to pick. I think we'll need to see a nerf to open wounds before other heroes can take his place. I don't mind the hero, but there isn't any reason to pick a PA over him when he fits into so many more early game compositions.
If you just nerf open wounds' numbers for the early levels, then he'll still have his place as a ganking carry with his "bombs", and hopefully he can still stick to targets in teamfights with open wounds at higher levels.

I guess that makes sense. It wouldn't hurt if the mod issuing the warning stopped by the thread to explain what the reason was, if it's not exactly clear. It would help other people learn, and like this it looks like Silverstar got warned for simply disagreeing with a mod. I guess this post doesn't belong here either tho, so I'll stop here.
I don't like the drow nerf... She seems useless to me. I alway take changes to non-cm heroes with a grain of salt, tho. everything might be all different in the next patch.

why feel bad because we all play the game for fun (each to their own fun factors). and the thing is regardless what carry i have in our team, the oppos will keep coming at him/her all the time nowadays /_\ I had a period of time where my drow has 17-2 w/l on my smurf though rofl.

Anyone have a problem where once you a game pops you're forever stuck on the loading screen? I tried turning off firewall and everything and I'm hesitant to reinstall dota if it's just a connection problem (tried verifying cache/restarting steam).

I've been dabbling a bit with playing carries as supports lately. I've tried support morphling a few times and the big issue is that he can't do anything early game or in the lane. As for as supporting goes, these carries suck.
I do like support naga, alch, and sniper though.

Oh god. Just had a game where I got bitched at for pulling (in Russian, naturally) because apparently the 2 minute mark is when you want to push the enemy tower as PA/Lina. BH then built a (35 minute or something) Battlefury. I know I've been on a losing streak, but I didn't know it would give me THAT bad an MMR.
On the plus side, the Nyx nerf actually seems to be pretty good. Way less annoying to play against. I'll have to see what I think after a few games, and he could maybe do with more work, but the change is still really positive.
