pretty cringe worthy if you ask me.

I gave up after like 5 lines, the ignorance D:

Is it bad that most of the people who read that might actually agree with it?
Does the writer even know what a skillshot is?
Will PC gamer even feel the effects of writing such trash?
Honestly I don't care... Still hate to see stupidity on that level though...

Complexity = skillshots
lol, no thanks ~

I lost it on the only one skill that can be dodged by movement part. I read a bit more by momentum

That cost 5% of your mana pool and will damage the other person's health by 10%! SKILLSHOTS!

i think that section about dota skillshots gave me brain cancer

Not again. First gamespot and now pcgamer -_-. I hope these are paid for.

How do people that stupid get in writing positions in such large websites?

I’d love to hear what you think gives Dota 2 deeper gameplay. It’s certainly not skillshots or mechanical complexity, like being able to respond to opponents’ abilities. Like Dota 2, there are a ton of abilities in LoL that must be targeted at a location rather than an opponent. In LoL, most of these abilities can be blocked with skillful dodging, creep manipulation, or sacrificial leaps by allies. You know how many skills allow for that complex variety of reactions in Dota 2? One. Pudge’s hook. Every other “skillshot” hits everyone in its way with no regard for collision. There’s no counterplay.
Oh god, fuck off. I actually read it all too. Jokes on me guys.

The mere fact that every "Dota 2 top ten" video of random players showing more skills and "clutch" plays than in any pro LoL game i've watched just destroys any argument on "LoL is more complex".
Skillshots? Yeah right, you mean the ones you can cast every 6 seconds and that cost 5% of your manapool, yeah right, pro skills to land it half the time.

Best part is this :
I’m happy to admit that Dota 2’s map has some very cool elements, including those gank paths and the ability for some heroes to cut through trees to make their own path. That’s awesome. But so is LoL’s brush, which allows skilled players to perform great jukes and manipulate vision in the field. Dota 2 has some of that with its height variance, but it’s not nearly as interesting or fun to play with.

You know I wouldn't get mad when someone posted this as a random forum post but that someone can write such blantant lies as a writer for gaming magazine? I don't know. Really annoying. Especially when then all the lol players jump on the bandwagon instead of actually making a picture for themselves.

I don't even mind LoL but this article is so biased and fucking retarded and is in no way objective at all. Holy fuck i got mad reading it, they try to come off as calm and collected but it's obviously been planned from the start how it should go, and the arguments and everything in the article are incredibly cringe-worthy and prove that the LoL guy or whatever has absolutely no knowledge of dota.
Basically it comes off to me as a milder version of the webcomic where the author makes fun of other webcomics where anytime the author wanna talk about something he feels strongly about he'll make the other party come off as an idiot while potraying himself as a calm collected dude with everything in control. It's pathetic to call that journalism.

That was my favorite one too.
Oh he's in the brush... Not sure if I can keep up with such insane juking...

It's really awful, it reads like some Riot marketer having a debate with himself

Or the guys making the article are retardly biased, either way, shitty journalism.

My sides have left me, and declared independence from the earth sphere, and are now waging war on me as the principality of Zeon.
