The QQ thread also actually tends to have some interaction. People actually talk to each other about their disappointing games.
Brag thread is just going to be brags.

The problem is there's nothing nice or useful that can come out of a brag, QQs can at least spawn some tips or cheer ups

the thing is there are people who have interest in posting those kinda things but no one bother reading it. Its better to prevent people posting like that from the very first place.

Well, there's this thread which is general discussion, the QQ thread which has SOME productive discussion, the main point was more to divert brag posts out of this thread. I guess it's a courtesy rule really not to brag in this thread (no one has ever been banned for it) but people are still going to sometimes feel the need to do it. There's really just the two threads at the moment and I only foresee a balance discussion thread at some point in the future as a possible staple (which could just be shunted into QQ thread anyways).
Brag thread might be a misnomer really, as it could apply to just any pub game you played that you thought was interesting. SC2 had a recommended replay thread that Jinro maintained during beta, didn't he? I think a thread more along those lines could work out well.
If a player can explain why the match played was interesting then it might be worthwhile. If standards are set the thread could be mildly entertaining rather than a pure ego-stroke fest.

Yeah, I forgot about that thread. I guess since it fell off the first 3 pages. I didn't do a search but a search wouldn't have turned up the dendi thread because I would have been using the wrong terms. Apologies everyone.

Brag thread is fine, let people do whatever the hell they want. If chaos is going to break down and people can't control themselves let it be not in this thread at least. Plus a faster way to sift out for bans, win win for everyone!

I also don't think it is that big of a deal. I also forgot about that dendi thread. I usually don't go past the first 3 pages to re-kindle dead threads.

woot, i only lose when sniper is on my team, theres so many better ranged carries in dota atm.
his early and midgame sucks compared to for example clinkz, he has no escape mech and his abilities dosen't scale aswell as other ranged carriees. drow, clinkz, huskar and alot of others seem like a better pick.
his nukes are decent, but thats all.
