Everyone does. :/ but seriously blahz0r completely made shit up about what i said when literally none of it was in the post he quoted. i only wish i could report that post of his, because damn that shikyo level of ignorance while posting. that kind of crap is all too common on these forums. people quoting someone, and saying what they said is wrong because something they didn't say is wrong. I mean damn if i want to i could go around quoting Flamewheel talking about batrider and then said "no your wrong, batrider isn't a good character to get aghanims on" even though flamewheel NEVER mentioned that item or suggested it in any way, that doesn't make my post valid at all it's just a waste of time and frustrating to flamewheel for no reason. it's worse when the person who does that ignorant crap is usually a respected poster. when really he's proving more and more to me that he deserves the opposite. :/ | ||

TL DR the guy above me thought what i posted was too long and didn't read it. 1. Do you not see how this comment is flawed "bkb using heroes typically since that gives you a large window to make use of your superior farm."? Every hero can be considered a bkb user based on composition of the other team. What superior farm do you have if you blend in what you have said in the other fields such as playing selfishly and ignoring your team while they may feed. If you are losing towers and map control, you have less room to farm and that forces you pick up a faster bkb if needed. So meanwhile you farm up an item or two while your team is completely useless partly due to your lack of presence. Guess what happens when you try to extend your "superior farm", you're forced to use key skills or bkb to pull out of dangerous areas, die, or you end up with .. no farm because you're stuck in your base. That's how one could easily interpret your statement. 2. You didn't list heroes for laning nor did you list a "couple of examples", you listed 2 heroes and then put a big "COMMON THEMES". That could mean anything, do you see how vague your point is? Also my point still stands on relying on these heroes. 3. You're qualified to say that when you can't even play at higher level games and blame it on your team instead? This is why people of your mindset are stuck in your said bracket. Play like a team in a team oriented game. An earlier presence in fights will make a difference and allow your team to use the gold/level/tower advantage to make up for the lack of skill. If your opponents are beating you 4v4 or 5v4, you think they'd lose 5v1? So let me ask you another question, how will you play in a higher MMR setting if your team starts off at a disadvantage due to misplay, composition, etc ? Are you going to pull the same stunt? I'll tell you this much... it won't work. The really fun part is that the whole "Ignore your team because they suck anyway and try to afk farm and when you lose call your team stupid" is something I'd expect from a low/mid elo League player with his own special "superiority complex". Some people here, including me, still remember your attitude over in the other subforum which isn't much better around here. If you play multiple games where you can't break a certain level and where people call you out for your attitude when you whine about it, then maybe... just maybe... it's not the fault of the people you're playing with. | ||

Also, for raising MMR the trick is to play a dominate mid hero or a jungle farmer, because both of these have 0 reliance on your team past wards/courier for early game laning. Stuff like QoP/TA are excellent because of their ability to carry. | ||

Sacrificing yourself to save teammates who will not act toward a victory is stupid. thats playing selfish even though it's a smarter play. it's also selfish to afk farm all game until you lose, but it has a different outcome doesn't it? so please don't think what i said means only what you want it to mean. and yes i have a temper when people ignore things i say and give bullshit reasoning behind how they know what i said better than me. and i was a decently ranked LoL player, but nothing special especially in the 2nd season where i got bored with the game and barely played except in groups of friends, not that it matters at all. and i'm a pretty damn good dota player. i however have only recently broke 400 games played of dota 2, and my games are rather random in MMR it seems. i go from very high to normal seemingly at random so i don't even know what level MMR i'm at right now tbh. but i'm a pretty damn good support player in DotA, i truly am it's what i did competitively for years, and it's what i know. but maybe you should stay out of things you don't really know about eh r.evo? stop trying to egg me on and just drop it. blahz0r responded to something he thought i said rather than what i actually said, and it frustrated the hell out of me. just drop it and stop trying to gang up on people you dislike. | ||

Thanks mate, i really didn't have a clue where to start i experimented with force staff given the 6.75 changes, thinking it would bounce them back into the cogs, but it doesn't it just pushes you out of the cogs and makes you take the damage/mana burn i was hoping hook-> cog-> force would be a reliable 200 damage, but alas. Well i guess it's a reliable damage source but it kind of ruins the hope cog trap aspect anyway | ||
