You shouldn't be able to pull every creep wave, at least as sentinel. Even if you double stack pull, you annihilate the :13 wave and aggro on to another camp, but the :43 gets through unless your own wave dies at the perfect time. If he denies his own corresponding wave, yours will push and he'll get at least 3 creep. Also usually the carry will free farm a trilane vs a suicide solo while a support will be getting the pulling experience, so denying 1/4 of the creeps isn't a bad thing. The problem is you're left with 2 supports, lich, a mid and a carry, and even a lich with some farm doesn't bring a lot to the table. --- Some trilanes aren't meant to push, so one shouldn't automatically assume lich will lose towers. You have to look at the matchup before you decide to write it off.

I was thinking Aquila -> treads -> Linkens -> Manta -> Diffusal -> Heart or somesuch Right, a big problem with Lich offlane is that he basically helps the enemy team push so if they feel like it they can just pick up free towers. I'd get Diffu before the Manta diffu on melee illusion heroes is silly

1. Is it possible to save replay in practice game / against bots? 2. Is it possible to pick the bots heroes? 3. Are there any game modes like dupe mode or so from WC3 Dota? 4. What are battle points and what they do they do? Is it just something to show how many games you've played? Yes, I played mostly against bots in WC3 (mainly because you know how pubs are on battle.net). Not sure if "pubs" are better in Dota2 or not (haven't started yet). Anyway, so far I like the addition of dialogue (between heroes) in the game. Makes the game more lively. Finally kudos to Valve or whoever for keeping bots up to date in Dota2 (I mean, unlike TF2 where the bots were kind of bare minimum and worked only on some maps). Personally I wouldn't mind a 1v1 mode where you control all 5 heroes at once, with each hero having a separate gold pool (to mimic regular team games, so no pooling all items on one hero). It would be fun. I really never liked team games where people blame each other all the time >.>.

2. I don't think so but you can suggest 2 heroes to your bot team, but the bots can't play all heroes so if you suggest a hero they can't play they won't play it 3. There is only -wtf afaik, + the cheatcodes 4. You win battlepoints by winning matchmaking games. No use except gaining levels and winning one item/level.

Nice. also get items randomly for playing as well obviously rares mythics ect much harder to find this way than trade/buying though. I like rad rush on naga, mostly because it's fun for me to farm jungle and a lane.

I was thinking Aquila -> treads -> Linkens -> Manta -> Diffusal -> Heart or somesuch Aquila -> Tranquils -> Linkens is a solid build but might kick in too late, something like Aquila -> Treads -> Diffusal -> Manta has a quicker teamfight presence. It kind of boils down to the tempo of the game. @The whole "I have LoL experience but don't know what I should start with in DotA 2": my only real tip is to not ask DotA players about it. From helping lots of League players getting started with DotA I'd say the usual recommendations like Lich or SK are terrible. Lich doesn't teach mana management at all and someone who has played League on a high enough level (1800+) can comfortably dive into guys like AM or Mirana instead of one of the most boring heroes this game has to offer. What the DotA community loves to underestimate to hell and back is how many skills transfer easily. Whether you had good map awareness, last hitting skills or even proper understanding of positioning in teamfights, that's all stuff you just have to translate a bit and you'll be fine. Raw mechanical things like that don't get lost just because you switch games. The biggest gap in the beginning for someone like that is mostly all-around knowledge (who does what, cooldowns, items, day/night cycle, jungle, juking in general, TPs etc.). In comparison, treating someone who played Broodwar on a high level like someone who has never played an RTS before when you try to teach him SC2 is just plain dumb. There's just too many skills which transfer, especially when you stay in the same genre.

everyone's gonna be around the same skill level after a couple games, so other than avoiding really hard heroes it doesn't really matter
