its like Pudge. And TA and invoker and chen and ench and rubick and tinker, also ES, Veno, Furion and many more To be fair a lot of those heroes are so strong/easy to play it doesn't really matter if a bad player is playing them. Meepo doesn't even compare in that sense. You'd think, but i've seen a veno that farmed ancients from level 7 till aghs and shadow blade, at which point we managed to win the game 4v5, a rubick that HELPED enemies with telekinesis , a TA that never realized how exactly her skills work even after 40 minutes, invoker that EXCLUSIVELY fucked up comboes with tornado etc etc

Well he was a competitive StarCraft player as well. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Iceiceice
But yeah, any meepo player is quite insane. Just making sure NO ONE DIES, is insanely difficult, hard to compare to micro in rts games because the penalty for tiny over-extensions is so high.

apparently AA got gold for killing one of the Meepos despite the Aegis on the main
wasn't that reported in the dev forums?

I wish chu would come back and play meepo.

I really dislike the announcer/killstreak thingy on top of the screen. Text was enough imo.

Yeah, it's just distracting to me. I have to look at that, and then check the other log to see who they killed? Really silly / poorly executed.

I agree with this. They should make it an option to turn it off.

Guys, talk about this in the dev forums, already threads about it there

DOTA LOOKS SO GOOD + 5 PING
FUUUUUCCKKK Looking fresh sweet cheeks. I'm building a new one right now and I can't wait to see how this baby runs, what are your specs if you don't mind my asking? nothing to write home about really, just i5-3210m and nvidia nvs5400m on a thinkpad T530. I can't max out everything on 1600x900, but when I turn off the main fps killers like shaders, AA, vsync etc and leave textures and rendering on max, I can still get a healthy 50 fps. I never knew the game looked this beautiful because on my old laptop, I had to literally put textures rendering everything on lowest so it looked even shittier than wc3. That is one ass-kicking thinkpad you have there D: I am jealous...I want to replace my t61 so badly Q_Q (how much for that btw?) Oh I missed this post before... But yeah that's pretty much the minimum to qualify for a gaming laptop for me. Laptops of similiar gaming performance have been in the 500-700e range for quite some time. I think a better one was on sale half a year ago for 370 euros over here. I don't think it's anything out of anyone's reach. Then again I would never be able to play on a laptop, desktops for the win. Ugh I've been playing on the family pc past 3 months (home from uni) dreading going back to my laptop which prior to being home for the summer I only played dota 2 on. Just played a game of dota on my laptop and looked awful ranging from 20-40 fps on the lowest settings you can go.
Hopefully I'll get used to it again or I'll try and save up for a desktop.

Playing with a meepo who hasn't split his meepos up even once during the whole game. That's it, I'm instalocking the fucker just to deny people who have no clue about how to play him from doing it.

Secret strat vs lycan in pubs is to instapick him then wait until everyone else has picked and then you repick. Makes sure no one else can pick him and you only lose 100g. Also works very well with meepo.

It's a list of what art assets have been made/confirmed which is why it has names of who have done them.

Picking lycan might provoke some picks from the enemy though.
