As such it'd make much more sense to me to, for instance, hire specific tournament organizer-people or even use volunteers for it while the programmers program but I guess I'm wrong. More like a skilled team is most valuable as a skilled team. If you outsource stuff like that you get a bunch of people who don't care very much beyond what they're paid for. If you do it way you have the same people doing your "big project" who have been working on the background for it for a couple of years and will go as far as humanly possible to make it something special. The ability to work as a coherent unit is much more valuable than being good at something individually at events like these. Not to mention that there's lots of work to do for which you don't need a specific education. =P

Interesting... (We know Dignitas is picking up a team, but if they pick up a full team that hasn't played an official match then they must be beyond stupid)

Odd. | ||

I don't think we'll see that much meepo (if any) in the competitive scene though.

He needs levels, which he can easily get once he's level 6, and beyond that he doesn't need too many items to be effective. He can split push pretty well. He's obviously vulnerable to lots of AoE damage though but we'll see.

Seeing as his clones are weakish and i remember in dota1 it was all giggles for a lion/lina

The biggest danger to meepo is heroes like Lion.
