As this is a str amulet, the target demographic would be barbarians: which brings us some problems. - it has no resist - Its vit score tbh is not all that amazing - while I explained that barb can be good with crit, crit dmg is another story. +7% crit gives dmg and 7% more chance to proc crit based procs. In other words crit dmg is useless unless you crit to begin with. Therefore the actual value of crit damage may not be as good as you think. - it has no IAS for more dps oriented characters For the purpose of this calculation, the +base dmg and thorn damage portion are ignored. On US I can easily buy a 120str 100 vit 250 LoH amulet for 1mil. I would say the amulet is worth around 1 mil. I would not spend more than 1.5mil on that amulet: that is if there are no alternatives, and I prefer more DPS via crit dmg vs a more defensive option via resist all, phys resist, or dex (for dodge). Side note: barbarians often undervalue dex on their gear and avoid it like plague. A piece of gear usually want one or two unwanted stat on it. I would rather have 100dex giving me a good amount of dodge vs 100int which gives only 10 resist all. | ||

I don't understand your logic about crit not being worth much. 3% crit is like worth 60 int in dps for my build for instance. | ||

The level reduction has already been accounted for. | ||

So you had an item that was initially level 60 which makes sense for that dps range. I doubt level 49's can roll 500 dps by themselves. Edit: You ppl fast why don't you guys answer my post  | ||
