Oh and to add my 2 cents on that weapon I had a very similar weapon with around the same life on hit, however it had maybe 60 less dps, 50 less vit and no socket but had 120 str on it (and it was a sword and may have had IAS I forget). I sold it nearly instantly for 20m, so you can likely get more than that I'm guessing.

If it was a sword and had IAS there's really no comparison to be made. Significantly faster weapons make life on hit a lot better.

And yes I understand it is preferable to have LoH on swords which are faster but I still think the comparison is valid since 1) it has a socket which can further boost that weapon's LoH and 2) you can get IAS from other slots to make up for slower weapons.

With the way attack speed stacks, it makes a very big difference. All your gear attack speed is multiplied off the increased attack speed of the weapon instead of the base weapon speed. You're going to get much more bang for your buck with life on hit if you're using a base 1.6 or so weapon instead of a 1.2
