With that said, there is so little "modern" hip-hop that is real hip-hop. It has sucked for the last 10 years. And the kids who think this music is the best hip-hop dont know what the hell hip hop really is. The best modern hip-hop I would have to say is Lupe Fiasco. | ||

This song is called "Wake me up" and is about the frustration about the atmosphere in Germany, but it's quite universal. This song from Ferris MC is about the lifestory of himself and his best friend, who committed suicide after a long drug addiction. This song is a collaboration of many german and international artists that was made after a guy named Adriano was killed by Neonazis. Fun song, great artist, catchy beat and terrific lyrics as always. A very good mainstream musician, great lyrics and beat, extremely successful in Germany. | ||
