He was sitting at the bar next to a couple of cute English girls but he wasn't talking to them, I couldn't approach the girls due to the way the bar curved so I sat next to this dude, did the standard "how are ya mate.." ".....so where you from" had to endure the typical American tourist essay length introduction before I could cut him off and ask the girls the same question, due to where this asshole was positioned I pretty much unintentionally invited him into the conversation with them, I figured it's cool, there are two of them. He kept interrupting conversation to talk about himself and his time in Japan. "That's interesting, reminds me of about 5 months ago in Japan when I..." it got so annoying and boring for everyone that the girls excused themselves said they had to go meet some friends. As soon as they walked away I just turned to this dude and.. "did you notice how I was asking them questions about themselves, not talking about myself? Mate, you're a wanker" got up, walked to the other side of the bar and approached another group of people. That has been my only experience with an English teacher teaching in Asia. Self absorbed douchebag. | ||

I feel you, my asian brothers. Here in san diego, a Brit or an Aussie shows up at a social and have every woman by the skin of the twat, just because they have (admittedly) awesome accents. I mean, Englishmen with good teeth are the bane of the bonfire party, they take all the cuties. And recently I've seen a large influx of French dudes who seem to be jumping on this gravy train, but with less success (French accent speaking American English simply sounds, well, retarded). But the average Frenchie is more attractive than the average American mutt. | ||

First of all, if you're a white guy or black guy in Asia, it is way more likely that the Asian girl in Asia will go for the Asian guy, its just different in the U.S. because its "mainstream" and "accepted" to date an American guy because you live in American society. (In some Korean places where the girl entertains the men (not a whorehouse) these girls usually frown upon American/foreign men who come) The reason why you're GF thinks Asian guys are self absorbed and controlling is because she's obviously a Chinese girl who either: lived long time in the U.S. and actually starts believing in American media or she grew up in a rural hick part of China where men usually treat women worse in average, which is comparable to how controlling rednecks/Southern U.S. men are to regular Americans. (Note that this is not the same for other Asian countries, just China and the poor-er living Asian nations) I dont even know where you get the fact that they're not romantic, bad in relationship, but in parts of Korea and Japan where I lived in, the Asian society stereotypes American/foreign guys as unromantic, and desperate for physical contact I don't even know what to say about the small penis thing because its one of the most twisted stereotype there is, to be personal, mine is exactly (not rounded) 6 inches hard and this is average for White males. Yes, but I've watched Japanese porn where they use FAT old japanese men and surprisngly their dicks seem to be like 4 inches which an Asian like me find surprising. But then again, American porn industries like to use abnormally longer than average dick in their videos, while in Japan (where 92% of Asian porn is made), the person with the money (usually fat rich old salary men) get to participate in these videos. Not to mention that Japanese men usually tend to be very small in stature (average height about 5'7/5'8) while Korean men tend to be alot bigger (average 5'11-6'0) because Japanese food substitutes most meat with fish while they grow up. Its just that American media likes to exaggerate the difference between Asians by labeling Asian men as 5'5 feet tall and nerdy. And don't think that just because Asian men get buff automatically means that they're insecure or some ridiculous idea like that. The root of that comes from your false stereotypical thinking. Its just that Asian men who get buff are less common because its not in the CULTURE to work out like other countries, I am sure if the men cared as much as other nation's men, they would be just as big and work out just as often. So if you stereotype men working out equal to them being insecure about their masculinity, how do you explain the larger number of American men who work out? Are you implying that they're insecure about their masculinity because they care (more) about being buff than Asian guys care? In Asian cultures, its perfectly normal for two guys to being more physically close, and I think the root of this thinking is that Asian men are more secure with their masculinity to do this compared to men who are so homophobic. If you think that men becoming buff is funny relates to their insecurity, I think you're the person who needs to mature up and not think like a boy who is insecure. Different men work out for different reasons, some just want to feel fit and healthy I'm glad you're sharing what you experience but obviously its heavily influenced by American society (which is influenced by American media which likes to portray false Asian male stereotypes) | ||

American men (white) saw themselves as the norm, so they would need people to label bigger (Black)/ smaller (Asian) into category. The Dick stereotype will naturally fall into category if a group believes another group of men are more feminine. | ||
