You're totally welcome to play in my campaign. Though I am not sure how much puzzle solving I plan to have (it's kind of hard to do puzzles in non-computer DnD games)

Puzzles work, but you do have to plan them out fully.

They're hard to represent graphically, require a lot of prep, if messed up can stall the game, and if not gotten can stall the game. Its one of the reasons you see so many riddles instead of puzzles. Better to just have "puzzles" like "you need to flood the room to raise a weight and a lever floods the room

I dunno, find the pieces for a statue then point the statue in a direction after you put it back together works pretty well as a trope. that lets you design the "dungeon" as anything, an abandoned town, a crypt, a minotaur's labyrinth, whatever. its simple, merely requires exploration and maybe reading a note or something.
