I'm still learning RP. I'm not exactly happy with the way it came out first one shot, but it usually just takes time for people to get comfortable with the characters and other players (for those that actually want to/try to RP)

I never try to do voices unless my character is doing voices. because it gets to be a pain to keep the same voice from session to session.

I find it easier just to create a slightly more extreme version of yourself, makes the RP part of the game a lot easier.

I thought you managed yourself really well and did a good job accomodating the newbies. I told Wave and Soniv that if I were in Asmo's position you'd be my first pick for the real game.

I'm bad at RPing when I can't be heard  I'm getting worried its my old laptop that can't keep up cause sometimes you guys sound under water to me too. I even printed off my character sheets and the ranger section of the manual and closed everything except roll20 and skype and it seemed to help. I couldnt use the character sheet in roll20 cause it lagged lol. I will bribe my dad to let me use his for the next session. becuase i probably wont buy a computer for ~1 month. I'll be extra early next session to make ... double sure? that it works.
Amak’thos did seem like a bad ass blasting a wolf and intimidating spooky shit into coming out and talking. I'm just not keen on him cause im an elf and hes a tiefling.

Hey all,
Thanks once again for posting all this useful stuff in the thread. It provides a lot to think about as I'm preparing between sessions.
Just wanted to throw out a reminder that I'm planning for the Fellsmark One-Shot to continue (and hopefully end) on Wednesday, Jan 14 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00) (this Tuesday). I want to make sure that everyone's ready and still willing to do that.
Everything going according to plan, we'll then have the end (again, hopefully) of the Wilds of Edelia One-Shot on Wednesday, Jan 21 2:00am GMT (GMT+00:00), after which there will be many much decision-making.

That's what I did last week. Hence me trying to talk and being muted often.
Lingering coughs are a hassle.
