Wow, six tournaments. Any more details about how the SPOTVGAMES will be organized?

This is amazing news for the KR scene, exactly what we needed to offset the WCS AM & EU region lock. If players can play in both SPOTV's league and GSL at the same time there's potential to win big in terms of prize money and WCS points.
I'm curious about the qualification process for the SPOTV league and if both tournaments will share seeding in some form(winner of gsl qualifies for spotv automatically etc)

SIck news :0 now tournaments will be a bit less stacked than before ^_^

Confused as to what "SPOTVGAMES=Round of 16" means. 16 player tournaments?
Also, is not $37,868 for 1st place less than previous years?
Regardless, this is pretty awesome. :D
Hoping this can keep SC2 Korea alive until LotV.

You're assuming players won't be able to play in both, or you mean foreign tournaments that give wcs points?

Korea! Premier tournaments! Three of them! Yes!!!
I wonder if there's going to be any connection between the three SPOTVGAMES, or if they'll all have their own separate qualifiers. I guess if there was going to be a connection, there would have been a fourth "finals." Ah well.

This is amazing news. It says in the article that all players will be eligible to compete in WCS KR if they wish. Winning for first prize will be the same as GSL for the SPOTV tournament, but the total prize money will be a little lower.

Wow. That's really interesting. Has the Starcraft II scene in Korea ever had a big weekend style tournament?

WCG 2011 in Busan, WCS 2013 Season 1 finals.

Sounds like the GSLs will continue as normal, but next year will, in essence, have 3 KeSPA Cups. Sick.

I want to say there was some WCG style event that actually had few Koreans... Either way I'm excited to have more Korean tournaments! Especially if we have 3 GSLs and another tournament running 3 seasons!!

6 Major Tournaments! 3 GSL 3 SPOTV!
I think this exactly what the Korean scene needs now, and will especially need after a full region lock, Kudos to Blizzard, Gom and SPOTV for working this out!
