The video proves absolutely nothing. There are noise generators inside of the booths that should theoretically block out the noise coming from outside, that doesnt mean the massive amount of soundwaves outside stop happening and don't reach the booths themselves (which vibrate based on those soundwaves).
The only people who know if the active noise generation inside of the booths is strong enough are the MLG Staff and players, a poll on TL amonst people who do not fall into that category is 100% pointless.

They also have like fans inside on the top of the booth a little bit above the monitor i think? They said they have white noise blasting in their on top of the headset, whatever that is
Your only option now, hacker scarlett, is to log onto that old battle, net account and change the name. You wont have the name change in your replays on drop.sc. only the URL ESCscarlett, wont be tarnished by your hacking account.
Is it even possible to build a "sound proof" booth? I would hear a crowd doing things outside on the street and that's me sitting in a house, not some crappy tiny booth. I think you can at most expect the booth to help make voices incomprehensible together with the in-ear headphones and something noise cancelling on top, maybe headphones playing music. Expecting the booths to be sound proof seems unrealistic and blaming someone for that seems stupid.
they can probably hear something when the cheering is very loud, but with booth plus headphones, plus white noise generators, they can't surely understand what casters are saying, and that's what it's relevant. Naniwa is known for his complaining about everything, he was complaining about ESL PCs which are last generation PCs, when everybody else was just fine. I wouldn't put much weight on his words..
Vibrations = People wearing big ass headphones (+ static noise) in an enclosed booth = Players getting critical information from casters and fans cheering
I thought it was pretty obvious the actual booths weren't sound proof. That is why they have ear buds and noise canceling headphones. I mean... why else would they have those?
I've been into the booths of WCS Asia and World Championship last year, if you shut the door the noise indeed reduces significantly but yes, the booth alone is not completely sound proof, but combined with headphones and white noises it should be fine.
