http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=437998 Definitely work a read (the link : http://www.change.org/petitions/a-stand-for-democracy-in-the-digital-age-3) We really shouldn't accept in any shape or form that we are constantly being monitored. There is no good reason. Be it government for "safety", commercial for "knowing your client" or any other reason. Certain THINGS should be monitored (illegal content) but not communications as a whole. I know some people will say this post is beating a dead horse, but it really shouldn't be. The horse should only be dead when we have absolute certainty that we have some form of privacy in our online life and communications. What people choose to willingly put out to the public is one thing, but otherwise you should expect privacy in your life. Other related NSA news : http://www.propublica.org/article/world-of-spycraft-intelligence-agencies-spied-in-online-games Great way to spend millions (billions?) of taxpayer money! Stalk them while they play games!

EDIT - I take it back. The mapping is complete horseshit. Also, I got 1% for Republicans ![]() I know that Wikipedia is one of the worse places to learn about politics in general, but this is a good way to figure out where you stand. President Barack Obama on Tuesday shook hands with Cuban President Raul Castro before taking the podium at a memorial service for former South African President Nelson Mandela. The gesture between the two leaders of Cold War enemy nations came as Obama greeted a line of world leaders attending the memorial in Johannesburg, according to the Associated Press. Source

Green Party 84% Democrats 77% Socialist 69% Libertarians 43% Republicans 7% I'm kind of disappointed I'm not more libertarian, in retrospect I discovered how easy it was to give an answer on what I feel should be done if I had the power, when technically I think the correct stance for someone who respects other people's rights and freedoms is to let them decide. Except in certain crucial issues...the most surprising part about libertarians was about the debt ceiling. I read about their opinions and found this: Should Congress raise the debt ceiling? Libertarians: No, cut spending You: Yes That's just an unrealistic answer, come on libertarians!
