There is no good reason. Be it government for "safety", commercial for "knowing your client" or any other reason. Certain THINGS should be monitored (illegal content) but not communications as a whole. I know some people will say this post is beating a dead horse, but it really shouldn't be. The horse should only be dead when we have absolute certainty that we have some form of privacy in our online life and communications. What people choose to willingly put out to the public is one thing, but otherwise you should expect privacy in your life. Except in certain crucial issues...the most surprising part about libertarians was about the debt ceiling. I read about their opinions and found this: Should Congress raise the debt ceiling? Libertarians: No, cut spending You: Yes That's just an unrealistic answer, come on libertarians! | ||
