Think about what they did ^^ A girl used a leveling service to gain ladder rank and play in show-matches, which helped make her respectable / supported. Then used that un-earned and fake respectability to trick people into paying for coaching and supporting her to help her get exposure in the community. That's an incredibly horrible thing to do in my opinion, but maybe I have some of the facts wrong or something. I don't think her being friendly was an act lol call me a fool what ever. All I know is that people were entertained I was entertained I had fun despite the false playing. I've been online for a long time and I've seen many frauds be exposed. This was surprising but not as bad as it could have been since it was caught early enough. I know she was friendly with a lot of other people and ran a business that was probably taking off on her just being cordial. Some off us still want to check in on her. She wasn't honest but she didn't commit arson or murder. Any way people love their pitch forks, I won't deny fresh blood and tasty tasty justice, have fun. | ||

I don't see zerg players that can manage constant aggression and still be able to macro behind it. I don't think too many people latched onto the girl aspect for various reason. Her stream never got more than 50 or 60 viewers at a time despite trying her best to get the word out. We're not getting the whole story from you (or vera) but it doesn't matter now. Some replays of Vera also had virtually the same hotkey usage, timings and assignment as Deathangel. - The community realises overwhelmingly that Vera was a fraud. A shitstorm commences. Vera immediately nukes all her social media realising she's been caught. - Vera originally planned to get coaching from Deathangel apparently to get from Masters to GM. Instead, she turned the conversation to him boosting her account and pretending to be her. - Vera confess although she insists that Deathangel got pretty much all the profits. - Deathangel confesses too but gives an unsympathetic response. - Both players get perma-banned from TL. | ||

It's difficult for a Romanian player to get a big fanbase if he's not a top class player. The saddest thing is not the stratagem or Vera/Deathangel attitude, it's that this stratagem completely worked.. Taking Vera identity allowed DeathAngel to play showmatches he's not usually invited to under his real identity. All DeathAngel wanted was to play showmatches and earn a bit of money, nothing bad. But when he played exclusively female tournaments, there he really cheated. | ||

It's very hard to get at the top of this game, there's tons of players and tons of pros out there who are on the same page as you and trying their hardest to win stuff. don't go and say these girls suck. It just happens that there's not many girls that can defeat guys in a tournament, but with the popularity and with the acceptance of girls in gaming , there could be more and more. | ||
