I wish people would stop calling orb racist, I didn't see any kind of hate speech towards a specific race, I see a word that can be used interchangeably with a multitude of other words to achieve a similar effect.

God damn, it irks me when people get up in arms about a word because of the word itself, nigger is HARDLY used primarily as a racial slur any more, its just become one of the other numerous insulting nouns.

Incidentally, this is ladder rage/BM, big deal, maybe if he said this on the EG MCSL stream or something, but this? Bah, get over it.

Okay, guys. For someone who doesn't live in the US, can you tell me how it's totally normal for black people to call themselves and even other people niggers, while when white people use the term it becomes a criminal offense? I'm aware the history of black people in America, but doesn't this a bit too hypocrite? Not to mention that only like 2% of SC2's userbase is black (according to a non representative poll in one of the threads back then) so chances that the guy is indeed black and got offended too is...slim. For me, as long as you don't use the word nigger in an offensive conxtext against a black people, it's no worse than faggot or gay or any kind of petty insult. (or you think is an insult)

however, the situation does suck. I liked orb's casting but will not watch his stream or any he's casting on after this =/
(I also don't watch other stream(s) for similar reasons)

No one is ever going to recognize e sports as a legitimate business if we have the more well-known figures behaving like this. This isn't acceptable in real-world business, so why is it ok here? Professionalism should be held in the highest regard and unfortunately there are several e-sports figures who do not.

Personally I don't care what the guy does on his own time, but he still represents an organization even when he's not "on the clock." Look at some major athletes that lost some sponsorship because of behavior on their own time, ie, Michael Phelps and Tiger Woods.

I don't know how to respond to this post without being extremely and increasingly angry. I have fully admitted to that SINGLE MOMENT in my stream when I used the N word back in beta. I apologized profusely for it and it even cost me my featured stream on TL.

From me using the N word a single time in the last 2 years against a proven maphacker, and for you people to come in MY HOUSE (aka my stream thread) and try to tell me I use it every single day as part of my regular vocabulary is slanderous and hypocritically highly offensive.

Try to at least put some thought into your words before you spew them out of your keyboard

the evidence show that he is not only use only single N word back in beta,but many time.

The BM is pretty standard for ladder, but why would he try and deny all this when there is no way he could succeed in that... If he had just manned up and admitted that it was him instead of doing wierd "yeah it's a friend I'm sharing the account with" stuff I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't care this much.

why is it ok for gay people to make gay jokes? why is it ok for poor people to make jokes about how poor they are but when filthy rich people do it it's discusting, because if you're in the shit, it's ok.
