Actually, it is pretty clear if you look at the rules. See page 18 of http://gfx.esl-europe.net/gfx/media/masters/rulebook/Intel_Extreme_Masters_Season_VI_Rulebook.pdf (copy paste into browser, dunno why the link doesn't work) I know I'm going to get sick of seeing people whining about this on other forums, so I don't want people complaining on TL.

In the post by ESL (before rule clarification), they never referred to the rule in question. Hence the lack of clarity.

TSM did not agree to not stream their games. and 3dMAX dissolved their LoL team. As a result MYM and LowLandLions are the replacements. http://www.absolutelegends.eu/news/789/Changes-in-APL-and-AAL.

I can't say that I'm too shocked by TSM refusing those arrangements - a good tournament game can bring in 40-50k viewers between their streams, and over a tournament it's almost certainly more money than they'd get for the win.

Starting next month, I'm planning to do a segment along the lines of "Team of the Month". This doesn't have to be the winningest team, per se, but the most impressive. For Feb, I probably would have given it to Mono eSports for their breakout performance. Touted as another NA solo q team, Mm managed to dethrone TSM in Killing Spree and qualify for IPL4. For a B Tier team, that is one way to get noticed.

Their performance against M5 in killing spree was absolutely stellar. They gained me as a fan after that game for sure.

Beating TSM these days in an online setting isn't much of an accomplishment as of late. Really poor play from Reginald has been dragging their team down as of late, and the attitude in that house really sucks right now. So much arguing from everyone, especially Regi. Whereas AAA with Moma back has been killing it against almost every EU team in scrims/minor tourneys in very impressive fashion.

I'm just glad we're getting to see new teams get on the scene and make a name for themselves. Competitively, aAa and even Dig are probably played better overall this month and are obviously stronger teams than Mm (esp. in a head to head match). Next month when I do this segment for real, it will be much more empirically based.
