I think EG has more money than people expect and barring Idra and maybe Puma I can't see anyone else on that team commanding high salaries, especially after Grubby left. Their SC2 division has not been putting up the results they wanted and they would probably be willing to make drastic moves to improve that and their image after the whole Puma debacle. As always, this is purely speculation.

Everyone has a price and EG has some HUGE sponsors. Teams are great, but most players go to where they can get the best results and can get paid the best. Everyone knows EG is looking at Korea, so this is a very real possibility.

JUST THINK HOW FAST USAIN BOLT'S LI'L ZERGLINGS WILL BE! UB OP

I dont think its Huk.
If they were going to pick someone, my bet is on Ret.
Hes a close friend to Idra. And for some reason, he wasnt wearing a Liquid shirt during the blizz eu invitational.
:p

Wasn't there obvious reason why he didn't wear it.
And why would they get 2nd good zerg anyway? They need a protoss if something.

:p He said he was still on team liquid, but he lost his shirt. I don't think he'd actually say he was on team liquid still if he was going to EG.

Ret rarely wears Liquid gear tho honestly.

I am 90% sure It is going to be a tournament. All the hints are probably the different invited players, or just plain hype that people are reading too much into.

Yeah, I would tend to agree, but he is a person and who knows.
Why would FXO.BoSs come out right away and speculate HuK or SaSe to EG? CatZ did the same thing, I'm pretty sure they know what's going on.

He said why he wasn't, said it was lost in travels and afterward confirmed he was still on Liquid and was not going anywhere.

There's an interesting post on reddit that has some speculations, the most exciting one is EG.White-Ra. The face of light for Egyptian mythology is Ra. Make sense.
|
Awesome deal for huk if this is true (make bank bro), but I've always wondered how big salaries are. How much exactly is a 'boatload' of money.
|
You guys, one thing that is NO LONGER being debated is that HuK is involved. Read any of the recaps to see why. HuK is 100% definitely involved.
There is also evidence in support of White-Ra being involved, but the link to the National Geographic video on Twitter is the only strong evidence in support of that.

EGYellow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Probably not actually... but it's a wicked weird thought.
|
Speculation is stopping/getting too sad. Time to inject something new. What about forGG?!?!
|
Also, the backlash from EG supposedly 'poaching' puma was enough.. You really thing they would poach TL's own huk?
|
So if this were a murder mystery, HuK is the most likely suspect. Usually this isn't the person who ended up doing it, what with red herrings and such. The next audio clue will probably send us spiraling off in a different direction.
In real life, it's usually the most likely suspect. =(
