I don't have an issue with that on their personal streams, they were hanging out with their peers and friends and trolling someone who generally trolls them on ladder, it was essentially fun with friends. I have no interest in limiting in the interaction between these people and forcing professional sports standards on their personal streams, I would likely lose interest if they weren't able to be themselves. This is really not a big deal, it was some people having fun in a Skype call, CombatEX is an idiot and I was honestly blown away that he could keep his persona up for 3 hours, I can't tell if that's how he actually is, or if that was the most consistent troll ever, the last few minutes about sucking inControl's dick just confused the hell out of me.

CombatEx' "style" may be cheesy as fuck, but CatZ would himself be delusional to insist that he is the better player when CatZ knows he loses most times he plays CombatEx. Now I'm not going to say the CombatEx is a bad player; that's not true. The problem with him claiming to be better than other people though is that they metagame/get metagamed so hard that the games go in his favor. He even alluded to this last night talking about how although he cheese 40% of the time (his own figure), the 60% of the time he does't people EXPECT him to cheese. This generally results in one of two things: either it provokes a very safe build which sets the other guy hind economically, or a cheesy counter response. If it's the first one, then the game has the possibility of going into the macro style that we generally determine skill from, but CombatEx will have the opening advantage. Like Destiny said later, CombatEx's macro isn't terrible either. If it's the second one, I believe it's pretty fair to say we shouldn't call one player better than another simple because he can cheese harder. So I don't think we can compare the skill levels of CombatEx and CatZ/Destiny/INcontroL because they play the game differently. SCDPride touched on that too. He plays the game differently than it "should" be played. He gets a lot of wins. Does that make him an excellent player? I don't think so. His life is better than INcontroL's and Destiny's: This is highly subjective. I really do see both sides of the coin here. On one hand, CombatEx definitely plays SC2 as his hobby, no matter how many games he plays. Cannon rushing people while hanging out with your buddies in a dorm isn't exactly a high level of commitment, whereas the game truly is Destiny and INcontroL's lives. In light of the previous argument, it is indeed sad that for all their commitment, CombatEx can still beat them the majority of the time. The only problem with this is the sheer number of games he has played. He's played something in the ballpark of 4400 games on the ladder alone. Then he brags about coaching people, which I don't dispute, and placing well in the LANs he's attended. That's not just cannon rushing with his friends in the dorm room. While he does not make a full living off the game like a lot of the pro players do, his level of commitment to the game is much, much higher than the overwhelming majority of SC2 players. So, I think that his point that he has a better life can go either way. Now, I personally think that a good life is one that you enjoy and that is generally fulfilling. But CombatEx' perspective on this is not so foreign -- many believe that life is the pursuit of excellence in all areas. While CombatEx may make an ass of himself (oh no! To Starcraft 2 stream viewers!), he definitely wins more than he loses to the people on Destiny's side on this stream, while working on one or two degrees and having other non-gaming-related interests (wrestling and working as a personal trainer, mainly, it seems). So, as I was listening to this, I truly was nodding my head to the essence of CombatEx' points and shaking my head at the vicious, ignorant bullying of Destiny and co. The other stuff about how he thinks that INcontroL's girlfriend is not good-looking (I agree, but wouldn't say she looks like a man) or that INcontroL is overweight is just plain trolling, trying to piss off INcontroL and get him to say things he regrets. I believe that INcontroL's constant resorting to suggestions that CombatEx bring personal security to MLG, and challenges to fight him or have others fight him, was patently pathetic and I would really expect nothing else out of that meat head. And the pizza jokes actually made me laugh when it came out later on stream last night that INcontroL blamed losing to CombatEx on stream to being preoccupied eating pizza, at which point INcontroL turned off his stream and lost again to CombatEx. Like you said, the who has a better life question is too subjective to be debated. I fall into the first camp; I think that as long as you enjoy whatever it is what you spend your time doing, you have a good life even if that thing is being a trashman or what have you. However, you cannot call what happened last night "bullying" there was a huge amount of verbal abuse heaped on both sides, so if you have to make this into a bullying case, every one involved was a victim. You call what CombatEx says "trolling" but take offense to what everyone else says against him. Just to clarify something, INcontroL only started talking about fighting people after CombatEx said something alongs the lines of "I want to fuck IdrA up" and then really backed down from it after talking so big about being a wrestler and working out. Just my personal opinion on things ![]()

You might have started listening later in the call or something, because the shit-talking directed at IdrA happened well after what I'm referring to. CombatEx said that he was a greco-roman wrestler, and INcontroL immediately challenged him to wrestling/fighting/boxing at a hypothetical future MLG, said CombatEx would need to bring so much security, how he (INcontroL) would "pop his head off," etc. etc. He was very insistent in trying to stage some combat with CombatEx.

Let's just say there was an M Night Shyamalan twist at the end, after CombatEX calling inControl fat, gay and ugly for like 3 hours, he said he wanted to suck his dick... perfectly of course, because everything he does is perfect.
