Also, people seem to forget that the USA would have remained under English rule had France not intervened on our behalf during the war in the late 1700s. The colonies could not win on their own. Basically, we have to thank them for our independence in the first place. Oh, and there was this guy named Napoleon who almost conquered all of Europe. Okay, now I'm done with the history lesson. | ||
