With most of the US having a 3 day weekend, why not open the beta when a lot of people will have free time? If testing is still the goal, opening the beta on a Monday or Tuesday isn't really a good idea because most of the traffic is on the weekend.
There is almost no way they would bring it up during a holiday weekend when their own support team isn't working. It almost certainly will come back up on an early weekday.

Every Harry Potter is named Harry Potter in the same way. They all have additional names to differentiate between the each subsequent book. Ex. Twilight : New Moon, Twilight: Eclipse.

I originally predicted the beta wouldn't re-open until the 7th. At this point I'm willing to throw that number back a few days to the 4th. Seems like the information people are getting regarding beta opening isn't very reliable, and I'd much rather just believe in myself.
