man, this match should be amazing. Im hoping for an epic 5 game set, with at least one game where the commentators and the observer are left unable to cope with the multitask of both players, and are just stuck trying to move frome screen to screen fast enough to observe all of the action

sair/reaver and fucking carriers man

Bisu 3 - 2 Jaedong

I seem to remember Bisu barely doing any damage with sair/reaver. I think Jaedong just made a bunch of mistakes. Plus, not every game is happening on Andro. In most other games I've seen, Jaedong beats Bisu pretty handily.

I'm pulling for Bisu to win, but I really don't think it's gonna happen.

????
Bisu had Jaedong on his back foot for most of the game?
And the only other memorable game between those two was the PvZ on bluestorm
which was..in my opinion
THE BEST display of PvZ in starcraft history

The game on Blue Storm was a great game actually. I forgot how close it was, and how Jaedong ended up pulling out a win.

I think in the game on Andro Bisu lost at least a couple reavers, and I don't think he did very much economic damage with them.

bisu was way ahead on blue storm until jaedong pulled off a perfectly timed doom drop when bisu was going for his killing push. it was a landmark game

on andromeda, jaedong was able to kill two shuttles full of reavers very quickly because of excellent burrow traps - he had burrowed lings as eyes all over and baited bisu's air swarm into picking off lonely overlords directly over piles of burrowed hydralisks. bisu turtled hard for awhile, and jaedong never could quite break him - eventually bisu's macro kicked in, in large part due to his island expansion, he reamassed a fleet, and his subsequent harass, with dweb, was brutal. another great game.

I just realized this kicks off in 3 days. Almost shat my pants. Hoping for some epic series, would prefer if Bisu came out as a winner, but doesn't really matter to me. Just want something along the lines of bluestorm game. Woooo!
My future's so bright, I gotta wear shades.

Yeah you said it spot on. They were definitely both great games. There was that recent PL match (I think in December) where Bisu just got rolled. I remember the crazy temp sniping that Jaedong did, and how the reavers were out of position.
Super serious.

No need to root for a single player when they're both so fuckin' baller. This series, along with a 2-3 Bisu loss and an even-more-epic subsequent 3-2 OSL finals revenge, is the best thing that could happen to Starcraft right now.

fortunately for the show, bisu's PvZ seems to be good again (8 wins in a row)

Definitely not in a show match. Probably will see at least a few interesting strategies.

its a showmatch with thousands of dollars on the line. how can we not see it?

As much as I'm looking forward to this, wouldn't both players want to have this after the OSL is over? It's not certain, but I think it's a pretty safe bet the final will be (Z)Jaedong v. (P)Bisu. If I were either of them, I'd flat-out refuse to play my most likely opponent in a showmatch before an infinitely more important matchup in Batoo. That said, (Z)Jaedong fighting!

Maps are said to slightly favor Zerg, but I don't see it, aside from Andromeda.

Andromeda is ZvP: 42-25 (62.7%)
Destination is ZvP: 30-31 (49.2%)
Medusa is ZvP: 30-32 (48.4%)
Colliseum II isZvP: 12-15 (44.4%)

Against Protoss Jaedong is 2-3 on Andromeda. Bisu is 3-2 against Zerg.
Jaedong's PvZ on Destination is 4-2. Bisu's PvZ is 5-2.
Jaedong's PvZ on Medusa is 4-1. Bisu's is 8-2.
Jaedong's PvZ on Colliseum II is 1-1. Bisu's is 1-0.

So overall Jaedong is a combined 11-7 ZvP on these maps, and Bisu is 17-6 PvZ on them. Looks like Bisu has more success and experience on these maps.

Why is Bisu the underdog again?

Will this game be on between Saturday night/Sunday morning or Sunday night/Monday morning? I always get confused by the time-zones.

Yes, gom streams live and there is often a vlc link working if you just check comments either on their page or here on TL if you are a mac/linux user. I also think that it should be the night between saturday/sunday at 4:00 am on the east coast and at 1:00 am on the west coast. Don't qoute me on this though, I also get a little confused sometimes.
