people call the x factors "luck" cus it's harder to qualify/quantify, and the fact that the "defender's advantage" is lower so as a result small advantages are a lot more significant in mirrors. however it still doesn't accumulate like in madness/golem/dawn of war where production is continuous, you can still throw it away at a moment's notice

essentially mirrors come down to 1. the basics, 2. split decisions in battle, and finally 3. certain small elements of luck like how the units are positioned when armies engage, so as one side will waste less shots.

stork focus fired 1 red hp dragoon in game 1, that was a huge mistake as far as pvp goes, he took more damage himself doing that
