Saw this earlier and noticed a few people were asking, so: It's true that nothing really helps them 'fire faster', but as far as making your mutalisk micro efficient, there are quite a few things you can do. 90% of muta micro is keeping them moving, and making sure you're coming in from the right angle. You want the mutas to be directly facing whatever it is that you're attacking when you actually attack, so you have to keep coming at different angles. Then there are what actions you should have the mutalisks doing other than just your spam right-clicking: - Force attacking is the best option when you're dealing with a single target per shot. I find a-clicking to be the best because if you miss, you're at least attack-moving. - Attack-moving overall seems rather meh, honestly. Works, but not as well. - Patrol-click does pretty much the same thing as a-move, in my experience. I've heard it helps against scourge, but I'm not too sure. - Hold position is key for when you have 8-11 mutas and you want to be able to kill 2-3 marines per wave of shots. Getting used to the micro is a bit different, as you actually have to let the mutas slow down somewhat for it to work (but of course, it works brilliantly when you end up taking out 3 marines at once each time). Anyhow, back to Nada. | ||
